Nana, Shannon, and I took Madison and McKenzie to Carlsbad, NM to see Carlsbad Caverns, the bat flight, and the Natural Wildlife Zoo. The girls did so good in the caverns despite the scary darkness and long trail down the caverns. I would not recommend taking a child younger than four since strollers aren't allowed. I'm so proud of McKenzie, she walked the entire time, holding my hand very tightly though. We saw an amazing bat flight at sunset as we sat in the rain.
